Getting Started
1. Book an Appointment
Schedule your initial appointment by booking online, by email, or by calling/texting our clinic. We’re open from 7:00am-6:30/7:00pm Monday to Friday so you can see us before your day gets started, while on your lunch break, or after work!
2. Complete the Intake Forms
Like most physiotherapy clinics and health centres, we do have paperwork prior to your first appointment to fill-out, but you can do it online at your convenience. It can seem like a lot to fill-in, but it helps ensure that we having everything we need before your appointment starts so we can provide you with the most efficient and effective treatment going forward. The forms ask for your name, address, and contact info, insurance info (so we can direct bill for you!), reason for seeing us, and your health/injury history.
3. Come In! (or Connect with us Virtually)
During your initial appointment, our therapists will gather information through a combination of questions and physical tests to develop a working diagnosis. We’ll then discuss rehabilitation goals together in order to build a path/framework that we’ll use to help navigate us to your desired outcome.
4. Develop Your Treatment Plan
This is where we’ll take the above path/framework and get more specific, by adding in specific exercises (including reps, sets, weight, and frequency), determining which hands-on techniques would be most appropriate at given points in time, and what education/helpful tips would be best for you to utilize during various home activities, job tasks, or sport-related scenarios.
