Jeremy Lynn

Registered Interim Physiotherapist

MScPT, BScKin, CSCS

Jeremy finds tremendous satisfaction in solving individual, injury-related problems with solutions based on mechanics, strength, and pain science, and knows that it can also highlight a person’s confidence and physical abilities they may not have known they had.

Jeremy has been passionate about movement and mechanics for most of his life. In his early days this manifested through maximizing his own athletic performance, peaking with swimming for the UVic Vikes swim team while he completed his Kinesiology degree. Now that he’s a Physiotherapist and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, this passion is expressed through training multiple different sports and optimizing his clinical practice.

In his spare time, he can be found training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, playing squash, in the weight room, or out somewhere running on a trail. Some recent athletic accomplishments include: Ironman Victoria (70.3), Ironman Whistler (140.6), and the Grizzly Ultra 50k with his awesome friend and brother.

Schedule: Mon 8:00am-12:00pm / Tues+Wed 2:00-7:00pm / Thurs 7:30-10:30am / Fri 1:30-6:00pm

Breanna Yaeger

Administrative Assistant

Breanna Yaeger

Administrative Assistant

Although Breanna grew up in the prairies, she always felt a pull towards the ocean, so it was only natural she ended up on Vancouver Island. She is nearly finished her certificate in the Human Dimensions of Climate Change at UVic and is keen to be working with a certified green clinic. With an environmentalist background, she is always looking to educate people and continue increasing her own knowledge.

As a former athlete, she is quite well acquainted with physiotherapy practices and the importance of maintaining one’s physical and mental health.

When not at the clinic, she’s likely off fermenting various foods or mixing a new kombucha combo. Recently, Breanna has gotten into propagating various types of plants. And much like other prairie transplants, she enjoys being outdoors and hiking on her days off, enjoying a more diverse landscape.

Having grown up in Victoria, Mary-Anne knows the West Coast well and loves everything about it.
She enjoys keeping active in a variety of ways, from cycling around the Gulf Islands with friends in the summer to hitting the hills on her snowboard in the winter. Hiking, biking, kayaking, and weightlifting are also in the mix to help her keep a healthy, active lifestyle, in addition to travelling and scuba diving.

Mary-Anne works with a variety of populations, including competitive and recreational athletes, and aims not only to resolve painful areas, but also prevent them from reoccurring. Her approach includes a combination of joint mobilization, soft tissue release techniques, IMS/dry needling, kinesio/athletic taping, and most importantly, education and exercise prescription.

After working on the East Coast, Mary-Anne is back in Victoria and excited to meet and work with everyone in the community, as well as try the new cafes and restaurants that popped up while she was away… she’s going to be busy!

Chris Lamb

Registered Physiotherapist

MPT, BScKin, Active Rehabilitation, Persistent Pain/Injury Recovery

Meet Chris, a man of many interests that keep him busy. He loves to sing, play the piano, juggle, ride his bike, weight-train, practice Tai Chi, read, write, spend time at the beach, and do brain games.

Chris has been a registered physiotherapist since 2006 and has a broad array of experience working with people with orthopaedic and neurological conditions. He utilizes knowledge from the growing fields of neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to rewire throughout life based on experience) and pain science to optimize recovery. He is particularly interested in helping people rehabilitate from complex and/or long-standing pain/injuries, and strongly believes that in many cases a full recovery is possible.

Chris’ treatments are individually tailored, but they generally include: normalizing sensation in the area(s) of pain/dysfunction, movement re-training, specific guidance about how to safely increase exercise/activity level, mindfulness training, providing education, and using a variety of methods to reestablish a healthy brain-body connection. His therapeutic approach offers limited hands-on therapy.

Schedule: Wed 8:00am-1:15pm / Thurs 8:00am-1:15pm / Fri 8:00am-1:15pm

⚠️ NOT IN-CLINIC DUE TO COVID-19 PROTOCOLS ⚠️

Zoe is our clinic greeter and mascot. She tells us she’s studying to be a certified therapy dog, but we don’t know how well it’s going—she gets a little bit distracted saying ‘Hi’ to our clients and other dogs that walk by. She does pour over her textbooks every night (literally, she slops water and drops chew toys on the pages) but hey, she does her best.

Zoe is also a yoga enthusiast, but she is more of a yoga-as-you-go kind of girl. She performs upwards of 100 downward dog poses per day, so you’ll likely catch a glimpse of her practicing at the clinic.
