OUR NEXT CLASS: TBD for 2021
Learn how to integrate principles of meditation, mindfulness, neuroplasticity, and pain science to develop calm, reduce stress and anxiety, decrease pain, and enhance overall well-being.
This class is suited for both experienced and novice meditators. Specific guidance will be provided, and people are encouraged to cultivate practice(s) which resonate and fit within their lifestyle. There will be a strong focus on bringing mindfulness to movement (both in formal practice and with daily activities), and provision of up-to-date pain science education to reduce the fear of physical activity.
Each class will have opportunity for formal practice, suggestions for daily practice, opportunity to ask questions, education about pain science, and reading of secular passages to deepen understanding of meditation and mindfulness.
This class will run over five sessions on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm.
