You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
~ Dr. Seuss
Evan is an eclectic guy. In addition to being a physiotherapist and co-owner of the clinic, he often finds himself cycling (all over – and now on gravel!), paddle boarding, kayaking, tinkering in the garage, woodworking, gardening, adding to his vinyl music collection, and of course taking his kids and dog to the park.
He is dedicated to his patients, his profession, and lifelong learning. Evan obtained his Masters of Physical Therapy from Western University in 2012 and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) after having completed all the manual therapy levels of the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (Phew! That was a big sentence). He has supervised UBC physiotherapy students, and mentored students and new grads from various health professions through the Level Up Initiative. He also holds certifications in concussion management, IMS/dry needling, and bike fitting, and is currently working on his comp-intro coaching designation through Cycling BC.
Evan is excited to be part of the Dockside Green and Vic West communities, and he looks forward to helping make its members resilient and robust for many years to come!
