We’ll make it easy to get your appointments covered.

From private insurance to the various government-funded providers*, walking you through what (and how much) to expect with each is what we do best… as well as the physio part!

Types of Insurance

Private

If you have private insurance that allows direct billing through third-party submission, we can bill your insurer directly for the portion of coverage they provide for physiotherapy services (Canadian Insurers Only). All you need to do is pay the remaining balance (if any) via cash, credit, debit or cheque at the clinic and you’re done! Otherwise, you can pay via cash, credit, debit or cheque for the full amount and keep the receipt for tax submission purposes.

Below is the complete list of insurers we can direct bill to…

  • Cowan Insurance Group
  • D.A. Townly

ICBC

If you’ve had a car accident, you’ll likely be going through ICBC.

To help get the ball rolling, please ensure you have your claim number prior to booking. You can either enter this information into our intake form (as well as your ICBC adjuster’s name and phone number) prior to your first visit, or bring it in with you to your appointment and we can manually add it to your file.

WSBC**

If you were injured at work and are seeking coverage through WorkSafeBC, please ensure you have your claim number prior to booking. You can either enter this information into our intake form (as well as your WorkSafeBC adjuster’s name and phone number) prior to your first visit, or bring it in with you to your appointment and we can manually add it to your file.

If we are unable to confirm coverage/approval through WorkSafeBC, there will be a fee of $100 (the cost of a regular treatment) until coverage has been confirmed. Once confirmed, there will no longer be any charges for your visits, and any payments you made before your coverage was confirmed will be reimbursed.

**Please Note: Our practitioners take a limited number of WorkSafeBC clients at a time. Please call to see if one of our therapists has availability before booking your appointment.

MSP / FNHA

If you are covered by Supplementary Benefits through the BC Medical Services Plan, there is a user fee for each visit.

Eligibility for MSP is based on your income (under $25,000), and you will have 10 visits covered within each calendar year if you are approved. If you are unsure if you qualify, feel free to provide us with your BC Services Card number and date of birth, and we’ll be happy to check for you.

To be eligible for coverage through the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), you must have a status card and be enrolled in the MSP Supplementary Benefits program through the province of BC. If you need more info or help with enrolling, please contact the FNHA by clicking here.
